Gotta get Busy

I'm such a slacker.  My house is a mess, my kids are bored, and I'm staying up way to late.  Jordan is going so stir crazy lately.  I need to get some things for him to do besides watch movies.  Playing outside isn't really an option because it's too hot, but letting him run around outside is probably a good idea.  He's fighting going to bed.  I've gotta be a tough mom and put my foot down.  It's just so difficult sometimes.

Anyway, just gonna post a quick layout then probably head to bed.  This layout featured Eressea Designs at Faith Sisters.  Her style is so different, but this rainbow of colors are just gorgeous, and those flower doodles are to die for.

Sweet Melody

I love this new kit by Krystal Hartley.  I am so in love with her designs.  The work so well together, and you're easy to get inspired by them.  I'm looking forward to seeing what in store!!

Overload

Ok, so I'm being overloaded by Jordan's sudden fascination with High School Musical 2.  What was I thinking getting it through Netflix.  I guess I need to decide if I'm going to buy it for him, or just simply say it's all gone.   What's a mother to do?!?

Another Layout for Faith Sisters featuring Sunny Kohler's Out of this World kit.  Her stuff is so cool because of the old school feel of it.  The paper pieced images are so awesome...and this kit is so bright and colorful, perfect for my Jordan.

At it again...

I know, I know..it's late and I should be sleeping, but I just had to post this.  I've been going through my older digital kits that I downloaded back when I was first "collecting" and I saw this kit along with this particular template and thought of this picture.  Jordan is so fascinated by music, and the piano is no exception.  He can already play "Twinkle, Twinkle, Little Star" on our piano. (of course that means he can play the ABC song too)  Anyway, the page just came together and now I'm posting it before going to bed.  That kid's got potential I tell ya...just gotta get tapped into it.

100th Post!!

Holy Cow.  I can't believe I made it to the big 100.  I never thought I'd post so much since starting this blog.  But what a great way to share with friends and family that happenings in my life.  Not that very many people look, but it's still neat.

Here's another layout created for the Faith Sisters DCT.   I love this picture of Melody.  She's such a cutie!

Still Tired

So, I finally went to bed at a decent time last night, but I guess I still need a bunch of sleep to catch up on.  Went to play rehersal tonight, and we went through Act 1 scenes 1 & 2.  I guess for those of you who don't know, I tried out for a musical with a drama group called Shadow Mountain Community Players and got a part.  The play is called Professer Incognito and the Kansas City Kid, and takes place in the old west.  I'm an old gossip married to the town engineer.  It's gonna be a fun play, I just hope I don't get too super nervous when things finally get going and it's time to perform.

I got some laundry done today, and have more still to do.  No creating right now, but hopefully my little creating bug hasn't died.  Don't want to go a month again without making a page.

Loney got the film of Jordan singing to the preview of High School Musical 2.  He's so funny, playing it over and over again and perfecting the little snippit of the song.

Well, I guess I should think about going to bed since I'm still pretty tired, I just will probably finish watching Hell's Kitchen first.

I'm so Bad

I think it's a sickness.  I've been on a creating kick lately, but as a result of the creativity I've gotten less and less sleep.  Last night I didn't get to bed until after 3am and tonight it's almost 12:30.  What's the matter with me??  Oh well, at least I'm getting a little bit accomplished, just isn't where it's supposed to be right?

Here's another layout created for the Faith Sister's DCT using Dahlia Co. Sacrificial Love paper pack.  The colors on these papers are so girly it's almost sickening, but since I have a girly little girl, it works perfect.  She is a "precious" little one to me and her dad.

Hotness

Ok, so the title might be a little misleading.  It's very hot here in Pahrump, but of course this is a thread featuring a new layout I created using Krystal Hartley's Moody Hues: Energetic kit found at Faith Sisters.  I love this picture of Loney not too long after we were first married.  I always tend to take pictures of him while he's sitting at his computer.  Hmmm....I'm noticing a pattern here. Anyway, hope you like it.

Kids Playing

My Jordan loves to play at the park.  I don't get to take him all that often, but he still loves me anyway.  Here's a video of him and Melody playing one very cold and windy day in January.

New Layout

Since getting the computer back on and now that I'm actually home for a moment, it's nice getting some pages done.  I really need a new camera so that I can take more pictures to scrap.  Guess I gotta save up for one.

Anyway, here's the new layout I created using Krystal Hartley's "Freshalicious" papers.  They are ooohh so yummy.  I love the colors, so calming and soothing.  You can find them at Faith Sisters.

To much to do

I have so much to do, and haven't been able to get to it.  I've got to figure out the storage situation around here.  I'm tired of all the boxes around the house and not knowing where everything is.  I'll come together soon I hope.

I came up with a new signature.  I'm having so much fun making them, it's just difficult to make them unique.  But with all the different digital kits out there, it's a little easier.

Photobucket

I guess now I have to decide if I want to change up my blog a little bit.  We'll see I guess.

Father' Day thank you LO

This week's challenge over at Faith Sisters is:

This week as we celebrate Fathers we can also remember the example of our spiritual Father in Heaven. Journal about a lesson learned from your father, father-in-law or have a father in your life share his personal feelings about being Dad.

This is what I came up with.

All the digital elements can be found over at the Faith Sister's shop.

Back in Business

Ok, so I create this layout before I left for mom's house, but obviously didn't get it posted until today.  I'm hoping to get some more creating done this week inbetween cleaning/organizing.

Tagged

Ok, so Ginger tagged me a long time ago, and I'm just now getting around to it. This type of thing is almost as bad as chain letters...which I hate!! So here it goes:

How To Play This Game of Tag: Post these rules on your blog. List: 3 joys, 3 fears, 3 goals, 3 current obsessions/collections, 3 random surprising facts about yourself. Tag 5 people at the
end of your post by leaving their names. Let them know they are tagged by leaving a comment on their blog!

3 Joys:
1. My family (I know, so blasse)
2. Sleeping (I so love to sleep in...too bad Jordan doesn't allow that much)
3. Hugs and kisses from my kids. (awwww)

3 fears:
1. To not be there for my kids as they get older.
2. That I will lose one of my kids.
3. Spiders (oye but they creep me out)

3 Goals:
1. To finally lose weight. (it's gonna take a lot, but I need to do it)
2. To get more organized. (hopefully this move will help in that department. Starting fresh ya know)
3. Go to Disneyland (I wanna take the kids since they love Mickey Mouse and all the other characters)

3 Current obsessions/collections:
1. Goofy stuff (Thanks mom for finding stuff)
2. Digital Scrapbooking Freebies (love them and almost have too much...almost)
3. My children. (I know....that's not really fair, but not really into much else)

3 Random Surprising Facts:
1. I'm always on the lookout for spiders. No matter where I am!! (I can spot them a mile away)
2. When I was pregnant with Jordan all I wanted was Chicken, and when I was pregnant with Melody all I wanted was Hamburgers. (gonna be interesting if I have more kids if it's the same thing whether it's a boy or a girl)
3. I hate watching scary movies with Loney. He's terrible about scaring me whenever we're watching them. (he's so mean!)

I guess that's it for the tagging. If you want to do this, then feel free. If you don't then don't feel pressured from me.

Hectic Start

It's the first part of June and already I'm overwhelmed with what needs to get done. I'm at mom's house while Loney starts his first week of work at McCarran Airport. I came along so that I could help mom get some wedding stuff finished, although she's got things under control which is good.

The kids are getting stir crazy or I'm getting crazy from them stirring up trouble. Not sure which. I'm looking forward to getting back home so I can get to creating pages again. I've missed it tremendously. Won't be home though until Monday night at least. Oh well, will get things under control someday.
