Tired of being Sick!!

Well, once again I'm not feeling well today. Stupid leg pains and just plain exhausted. I'm hoping the kids get to bed soon so I can relax and go to bed early.

The tomato plants we planted aren't doing to hot right now. I'm hoping it's because of the intense wind and sudden cold and not from user error. Hopefully they will perk back up..if not..we'll try again.

I'm so glad tomorrow is Wednesday and that the week is going by quickly. Just hope the sickness goes away soon!!!

Green Thumb?

It's still yet to be seen, but we planted a little container garden today. I have helped my parents with their garden before, but this is the first one I was in charge of. I have plans to plant some more flowers, zucchini, peas, and another squash but we ran out of soil. Will pick some up and then watch the fruits of our labor grow.

Everyone knows it's Windy...

Loney came singing that song this morning before I got out of bed. Boy was he right!! The wind has been horrendous around here. Of all the weather I could do without...that's the one!

I'm finally finding a groove again with scrapping. Been in a little slump. I'm so glad it's over...for now. Here are some of what I've been working on.

Weary Wednesday

So I haven't been blogging much, mostly because of not feeling well. Between visiting mom and dad this past weekend, my back going out, and Jordan being sick, I just haven't been around much. I need to catch up with some of my CT responsibilities soon. I did create one layout tonight that I can't post until Friday. I think it turned out great.

It's been so nice having a car. We've been able to go places (legally) as a family, and it's a really nice ride. I'll need to take pictures as soon as it's washed. :)

Well, I'll post more later, gonna get back to creating.

Happy St. Patricks Day

Well, this is one of my favortie days, mostly because everyone has to wear my favorite color....GREEN!!

Been a hectic last week, hence the lack of postage. But I'm getting back in the swing of things. At least I think I am. I'll post pictures of the kiddos later in all their green splendour!!

I also wanted to let you know about a blog train going on with some of the designers at Scrap Orchard. It's a fabulous kit, and I hope you take the time to pick up all of the pieces. It's worth it!! Click on the image to go to the main blog which will then lead you to your first desination.

Scrap Orchard is also having a BOGO sale for 3 days. It starts today and ends on the 19th. How cool is that!! I highly recommend picking up some of Shauna's kits. I also have my eye on some kits from Ziggle Designs, Krystal Hartley, and Irena Alexeeva. Beautiful!!

Sickness Ensues

I have been feeling soo yucky the past few days. A funky pain in my chest that when I breathe, stand up, or sit down it takes my breath away. I'm actually feeling a whole lot better tonight, but don't think I'm out of the woods yet. I haven't been creating much since I haven't been feeling well. I'm praying tomorrow is a better day so I can take my pictures for the 12 of 12 challenge at Faith Sisters.

I did manage to get this layout done that I started on last week. It's for the 3/5 template challenge at Faith Sisters. I changed it up a littl bit, but I think it turned out nice.

Hopefully I'll be feeling up to par this weekend so I can create some more.

Popcorn Popping on the Apricot Tree

So it's not an apricot tree, or even popcorn popping...but today is the first time I've seen a hint of spring coming. I took the kids outside and looked over at a pecan tree in the back year. It was is full bloom. I had my camera and took pictures.

I can't believe I came that close with as many bees were hanging around. I knew I had to get a shot of them though. The butterfly just happend by as well. Awesome shot..I think anyway.

Oh Boy, it's Tuesday

I've been doing so well with going to bed at a fairly decent time. Tonight though...I'm having a major letdown. Just reaaallly tired all of the sudden. Guess maybe my blood sugar might be off. Wouldn't suprise me.

I'm one step closer to completing my goal of getting my main living area cleaned up. I still have tons to do, but I've found the area around my dining table. Put the boxes to go to Salvation Army outside under a tarp (just in case) and found a home for some other stuff. I'm hoping to work on finishing the rest of the table while I'm watching Biggest Loser.

Jordan has been going to bed so good lately, and waking up all chipper. I haven't heard the usual 'no going to school today'. It's been really nice. I'll be glad when this week in over though.

Diana is coming home on Sunday night. Jordan is soo excited. All day today he's been asking where Nana is. I told him he'll be able to see her in 6 days. Not sure if he completely understands that..but I'm trying.

I'm off to do a little scrapping before I head back to working on my living room.
