Vintage Photos

How can you not get enough of the awesomeness of old photos?  I've been so blessed to have been able to get my hands on soo many (pre-scanned of course).  Here's a layout of Loney's parents while they were dating back in 1963.

I used Pineapple Plantation Designs Office Scraps Collaboration kit with Scrapalinquent.  I love the colors of this kit.  So perfect for those "lovey" photos.

Drum Roll Please.....

Ok, so now it's time for the big announcement.  I've been selected to be on the Pineapple Plantation Designs Creative Team.  I'm soo excited about this you have no idea.  I love her designs, and am honored to have been chosen.  I guess there were well over 100 applications and I was one of the chosen few.  WOO HOO...Happy Dance!!!!!  You can find her kits over at Scrap Orchard.

Here are just a few layouts I created with her kits a little bit ago, but make sure to keep posted for more.

I've also been chosen to be part of Paula Phillips Designs as well.  I'll be posting layouts using her kits soon.

I've re-applied for the Faith Sisters CT.  I should know by monday or so whether or not I've been chosen.  Here are my 2 layouts I created for the application.

It's Been A While

Ok, so it's almost been a week since I last posted.  I have a good reason for it though.  My internet has been down and....I visited family for a couple days too.  But I'm back up and running .

I have some exciting news that I can't talk about yet, but will soon.  Until then, here's another layout I did for Chrissy W's latest Template Challenge on her blog.  I finished it a while ago, but couldn't upload until tonight.  I used Gretchen Tripp's Good Boy kit for everything except the paper the journaling is on.

I was finally able to write down the dreadful day Jordan's legs were run over by a car.  He's my little miracle.

Like I said, some exciting news here soon so keep checking back.

Late Night...again

But not necessarily on purpose.  Jordan had about an hour nap today, so he's up late with me.  I believe Melody is asleep though, so that's good.  Loney will be home in about 45 minutes, so that will be nice.

I'm looking forward to school starting for Jordan next week.  He'll probably have afternoon class so we'll be able to sleep in.  Woo Hoo!!  I really do hate getting up early to get him off to school.  It's really crazy thinking that next year he'll be starting kindergarten.  Holy Cow, then Melody will be old enough to start pre-school.  Craziness.

I did another layout last night that I didn't get posted on here, but it turned out soo cute I had to share.  Love the colors and softness of this kit.  Sweet Little One by Krystal Hartley found at Funky Playground Designs.  She's creating for a contest there and the kit will only be available to download for a little bit, so if you want it...go quick.

Easter Hunt 06

I created another layout for Chris Greiser's CT using her Blue Green Summer kit.  Love the bright colors in this kit.  So fun to work with.  Makes you all cheerie and stuff.  Anyway, I've had these photos of Jordan for a long time (obviously) and when I saw this kit...I knew I had to use it with them.  Just coordinates so perfectly.

Mad Woman

Been making signatures like a mad woman for some of the ladies over at Faith Sisters.  I just wanted to share some of them with you.  It's so much fun making them...but kinda difficult to make them one of a kind.  So far I've been successful.

I'm so tired today though.  I didn't get to bed until 3am...my fault entirely.  But I'll do fine.  It's really strange still having Loney working in the evenings.  I kinda like it...but don't at the same time.  It's going to be even crazier when he's on Graveyard.  Keeping the kids quiet and letting him sleep during the day.  He'll do fine though I think.  Just have to lock the door and put ear plugs in.  I guess I should start looking for curtains for the windows so it's darker in the room too. hmmmm....

"Our Wedding Day"

Another layout for Gretchen Tripp CT.  I'm so glad to have these old photo's of my grandparents.  I didn't even realize this was their wedding day until I looked closer at one of the photos.  What a treasure!

New Product

Chris Greiser has created an amazing new product, they are called GeoCuts.  Such fun borders to work with and so easy to use too.  Very versitle too.  Check them out at Divine Digitals and tell me what you think.

Here's a couple of examples using the GeoCuts.

"Simple Life"

Here is yet another layout using Chris Greiser's Sunshower Kit found at Divine Digitals.  I love the fun bright colors in this kit.  So perfect for this picture of my kids while up camping.  Might just have to make several pages using this kit from my camping pictures.

"Live for LIttle Moments"

So excited to announce that I have been chosen to be apart of Chris Greiser's Creative Team.  I applied before I left for camping and as soon as I got back and checked my e-mail....there it was...a welcome from Chris.  I'm so excited about this.  I've admired her kits as well as her sketches since starting digital scrapbooking.  So here's my first layout using Chris's Sunshower Kit found at Divine Digitals.
