I'm back

So I got back last night from my trip to Washington.  I had a great weekend, but it's gonna take me a week to get back into the groove of things.  I'm extremely tired, but gotta get some stuff done before I go to bed.

I had a blast visiting with Heather, Nathan and Ian.  Mom, Ginger, Amber and I flew up Friday morning, and we goofed off for the afternoon.  Lunch, visiting the Almond Rocca Factory (YUM), then to a Tulip farm close to Heather's house.  I took pictures, but with mom's camera so hopefully I'll get a CD of them so I can make some pages.  We went and saw the pasta factory Heather works at.  It was neat seeing how the pasta get's made and the quality control Heather is/was in charge of.  I'm so proud of her...of course the free samples don't hurt either.

Saturday morning we awoke to snow falling.  It was neat seeing snow in April.  We're lucky to see snow in December/January in Nevada.  The weather was beautiful though, just enough of a chill to help you feel invigorated.  I loved it.  We went to lunch at a mexican joint then saw Expelled by Ben Stein.  I enjoyed the movie alot, and learned alot too.  I would have enjoyed it more, but I was getting a migrane.  We headed home after doing a little shopping at the mall and Heather's car broke down.  Her Brother in law came and picked us up and took us to the house.  I felt bad their car broke down, but it was fun nonetheless.  The rest of the evening was spent watching movies, playing hand and foot, and just talking to my sisters about anything and everything.

Sunday we lazily got up and then helped Heather (well, I kinda helped by being a taster) make linner (lunch/dinner) and met some of Nathan's family.  Then it was off to the airport to fly home.

I had such a great time I hope we're able to take more trips like that together.  It's so great having sisters who I'm so close to, and that we all get along.  They're the best and I wouldn't trade them for anything.

I missed my kids terribly but it was a much needed break, and I plan on doing them as often as I can.

I'm so glad you had fun on the trip. I was a bit worried. The Faith Sisters deal is terrific. Congrats
