I'm off for the next week.  No blog entries and no digital scrapbooking.  Just nice, relaxing time in the mountains away from the Nevada desert heat!!  Have a great week everyone!!!!

Needing a Break

I'm am so looking forward to camping coming this week.  I hope it doesn't get cancelled.  I need the break, and so do the kids.  I think getting away from Pahrump for a little bit will do me and the kids good.  I only wish Loney could come too, since he needs the breather as well, but work won't permit.  We'll make it up to him somehow though, not sure what yet though. But of course I think my air situation should be remedied by the time I get back.  Woo Hoo!!!  

Loney's been busy working on his new movie for the Chiller Channel Dare 2 Direct 2 contest.  Looks like he will be able to get it done, though he's far from finished with the whole movie.  Basically he came up with a 13 minute movie and had to cut it down to 6 minutes.  Luckily there are a couple of film festivals in town around November that he can enter the bigger version.  Here's the movie poster for it.

I look forward to seeing the finished product for both versions!!

So I was puttering around the internet looking for digital freebies when I stumbles upon this designer.  She is Elise Hansen Designs and she's giving away her huge new kit for free.  5 days of different links for the different colors in her kit.  It's called Notes from the Soda Fountain, and it is fabulous.  Please check her out, awesome designs.

So I still don't have much air at my place.  It's hot, and muggy and I'm not happy.  At least there's a little air flow but not much.  That's why I haven't been on to blog much in the last few days.  Hopefully we'll get the air situation figured out in the next week, or I'm leaving.  Well..ok...I'm leaving anyway because I'm going camping, but that's besides the point.  Woo Hoo!!  Duck Creek here I come!!!

Weekly Challenge 7/16

This week's challenge at Faith Sisters was to:

Sleepy Saturday

I'm kinda sleepy today.  But...I was able to sleep in which was nice.  Of course I went to bed at almost 2:00am so it's was almost like getting a regular night's sleep.  Oh well.

Not much happening on the homefront.  Loney is working on his new movie project (I'm helping where I can), the kids are watching movies, and I'm surfing the net.  I need to get some laundry folded and put away, but that will have to wait a moment.  

I've created a few digital cards that I need to print up.  I'm thinking of using them for the card exchange when we start back up.  

 

I have a few others, but need to make them smaller.  Well, I'm off to work on some stuff and make some lunch for the kids.  Have a nice weekend.
